I never write reviews but just had to reward the company for their excellent customer service. My machine stopped working after about 1 1/2 years of hard use (and good coffee). My local small-appliance guys don't fix this brand, so I had to contact the company. For $65 they sent me a UPS label and promised to fix the machine, and within about one week of me putting it in the mail, I had a brand-new machine delivered to my door.
I appreciate this response, even though the $65 initially annoyed me.

The Capresso MT-500-Plus coffee maker celebrates the glory and taste of American coffee with this precise and stylish drip coffee maker. The MT500 Plus Coffee Maker is constructed from high-gloss aluminum alloy, which is specially designed to hide dirty fingerprints and sustain its shiny luster. This coffee machine comes with a 10-cup stainless steel insulated thermal carafe, which keeps coffee warm for several hours. It also features a smooth touchpad control panel, a digital clock/timer that lets you preprogram your desired brewing time, a charcoal water filter to remove chlorine and impurities (LED indicator lights when it's time to change filter) , auto shut-off and a wonderful pause-to-serve function so that you can grab a cup of coffee mid-brew! In addition, there's a permanent gold-tone filter that is easy to clean and convenient cord storage. You enjoy coffee and it's time for American coffee to ascend to the grade of serious pleasure. It's in the brew and the MT500-Plus brews delicious coffee. And you deserve the best! Drip stop allows you to pour a cup while brewing. Charcoal water filter removes up to 83% chlorine. Electronic filter indicator shows when to replace the charcoal filter. 24-hour programmable clock/timer with easy to read LED display. Special settings maintains aroma when brewing only 3-5 cups. Permanent GoldTone filter is easy to use and easy to clean. Safety auto shut-off after brewing. Water level indicator makes filling the right amount of water easy. Concealed cord storage lets you extend just the amount of cord you need.Employing a stainless-steel vacuum carafe instead of a warming plate, this coffeemaker brews up to 10 cups in under eight minutes for maximum flavor and aroma, and the carafe then keeps the coffee hot for several hours.
